Founded in 1994 by Performance Director Matthew Robinson MSc. CSCS, Performance Enhancement & Personal Training has facilitated many individuals and squads to achieve and exceed their ambitions. Regardless of ability, Performance Enhancement & Personal Training believes that everyone has the capacity to realize his or her aspirations.

Performance Enhancement and Personal Training - Matthew RobinsonMatthew Robinson - Performance Director at PEPT

A former professional cricketer & international rugby player, Matthew also possesses an MSc in Sport & Exercise Science is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and an Accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Regardless of age or ability, Matthew’s experience has benefited the full spectrum of the population.

At the elite level he has worked with and aided athletes and squads to win Olympic, World and Domestic Medals.

Currently Matthew is the Lead S&C Coach for the English Institute of Sport (West Midlands).

Alongside this post Matthew still works closely with the general population and has a client base of different ages & abilities.

Matthew’s focus for PEPT is to facilitate others reaching their true potential and aid their ventures to success.

 

Performance Enhancement and Personal Training - Mike O'BrienMike O'Brien - Senior Consultant

PEPT’s Senior Consultant in Wales Mike O’Brien earned an MSc, with distinction, in Sport and Exercise at U.W.I.C. and is currently a Course Director at Gorseinon College in their Sports Science department.

Alongside this position Mike works with a wide variety of client groups and offers a wealth of useable knowledge to help them achieve.

As a BASES accredited Sport Psychologists, Mike offers excellent advice and coaching on goal setting and other personal management strategies.

During his affiliation with PEPT Mike has assisted elite cricket squads - assessing fitness parameters and advising on their physical preparation, he helped form a bond with some of Welsh Rugby’s top referees as they moved into the realm of professionalism and has also facilitated the advancement of international swimmers and skiers in both psychology and conditioning.

 

Performance Enhancement and Personal Training - Michelle GriffithMichelle Robinson - Senior Consultant

An Olympic Athlete & vastly experienced Certified Personal Trainer, Michelle is PEPT’s Senior Consultant in the NW London region.

Qualified in Pre & Post Natal fitness and with great depth of knowledge in Pilates type exercise, Michelle is a sought after trainer by celebrities.

Michelle consults for PEPT alongside her own very successful Personal Training business according to the requirement of clientele; as such she has a diverse client base that she assists in their quest for athletic or personal success.

She has an infectious approach to fitness and lifestyle and an incredible ability to motivate clients to achieve goals far beyond their expectations.
